I will deliver a speech and slideshow about China and the United States during the 2020-21 Sherman Teichman EPIIC Colloquium titled, “China and the World.”
My friend Ruby Easton invited me to speak to her and her fellow residents at Brooksby Village in Peabody, Mass.
I’m returning to my home parish to speak to longtime friends and church newcomers about my world travels and State Department experience.
If you’re looking for a winter getaway, come join me on the Seabourn Odyssey for a Caribbean cruise between Bridgetown, Barbados, and Philipsburg, Sint Maarten, during which I will speaking about diplomacy, photography and the book-writing process.
I will be speaking about “Window Seat on the World” - especially relevant in these times - at a Chat & Chowder event organized by WorldBoston. The event is open to the general public, as well.
I’m looking forward to a hometown crowd as I address the North Andover Town Democrats - and anyone else who wants to attend - in my local library.
I have been invited to address students, faculty, and members of the public at Purdue University Fort Wayne.

Former Secretary of State John Kerry will join me for a conversation about diplomacy - moderated by CNN anchor John Berman - during a joint appearance at the UMass Club in Boston.

With a convention of chief communications officers in Boston, I will speak about the impact of current U.S. diplomacy on global business.
Steve Brown from WBUR radio, a former Statehouse colleague, will interview me about my book. I will also show slides from our travels during the discussion.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a 6:30 p.m. start. The discussion and a book-signing should finish by 8 p.m.
